Phil Taylor hopes to power his way to a fifth straight Premier League crown
Defending Premier League champion Phil Taylor insists he will be going into Monday's semi-final against Mervyn King at the Wembley Arena in top form.
Stoke's 48-year-old 14-times world champion has won all the major ranking tournaments so far this season.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "I'm in good form, I'm confident, and I have the experience as well, which is vital."
The other semi-final is between James Wade and Raymond Van Barneveld over the best of 19 legs.
Taylor beat King 8-2 in the final round of Premier League group matches in Cardiff, which secured him top spot.
During the 14 weeks travelling around the country playing Premier League matches, Taylor, who is looking for a fifth successive title, suffered just one defeat.
