Port Vale manager Lee Sinnott says he expects to bring in more signings before the start of the new season.
Sinnott has already brought in six new players to Vale Park this summer, familiar faces like Danny Whitaker and Paul Harsley having left the club.
"We have two good goalkeepers and I'm happy with the forwards I've got," Sinnott told BBC Radio Stoke.
"But, in between that, if the right player became available then we would try and attract him to Vale Park."
Sinnott has so far signed defenders John McCombe (Hereford United) and Sam Stockley (Wycombe Wanderers), young striker Steve Thompson (Middlesbrough) and midfielders Anthony Griffiths (Doncaster Rovers), Rob Taylor (Nuneaton) and David Howland.
The former Farsley Celtic boss welcomes his players back to pre-season training on Wednesday for what is his first full season as a manager in the Football League.
"When we come together before the season, we've got to be hungry. Any team that is successful is hungry," said Sinnott.
Vale, who will be playing in the bottom tier of the Football League for the first time since 1986, are looking for promotion back to League One at the first attempt.
And, in Sinnott, they have a manager who is no stranger to promotion.
In his time as manager of Farsley, he led the Yorkshire club to three promotions in four seasons.
"I want my players to think, act and want like me," said Sinnott. "They have to want to be successful."
