Port Vale manager Lee Sinnott has started his summer transfer dealing, signing Anthony Griffith from Doncaster and Rob Taylor from Nuneaton Borough.

Both midfielders have signed two-year deals with the Valiants.

Meanwhile David Mulligan, Joe Cardle, Robin Hulbert, Adam Eckersley, Craig Rocastle, George Pilkington and Colin Miles will not be offered deals.

However Danny Whittaker, Paul Harsley, David Howland and Luke Prosser will all be offered new contracts at Vale Park.

Youth team player Ross Davidson has also signed a one-year contract at Vale Park.

22-year-old Griffith has spent the season on loan at Halifax Town making 37 league appearances while Taylor joins from Nuneaton after a successful trial period playing for Vale reserves.
