| Thursday, 6 February, 2003, 17:43 GMT Danielsson keen to shine Helgi Danielsson hopes his good display against Luton Town in midweek will earn him a permanent midfield berth. Danielsson replaced new Wigan signing Jimmy Bullard in the line-up against Luton Town, and the Icelandic under-21 international said he was happy with his display. "It was pretty hard trying to replace Jimmy as we are two different players, but I felt I did OK," he said. "It was good to be given an opportunity. "I haven't played that many games for Posh this season, but there are not many midfielders left at the club so hopefully I will get a good run in the side." Peterborough travel to Chesterfield on Saturday hoping to pull further away from the relegation zone. |
