Oxford United are out of the Setanta Shield after going down 2-1 to Forest Green Rovers after extra time.
Eddie Hutchinson's header took the game into extra time after an early strike from Rovers' Andy Mangan, but Kaid Mohamed won it in the 118th minute.
"It's the same story again for us," U's boss Darren Patterson told BBC Oxford.
"We have been in control but our goalscoring away from home has always been the problem and that was the case," he added.
Oxford's Phil Trainer hit the bar in stoppage time at the New Lawn at the end of extra time.
