Young was Telford's hero with three penalty saves in the shoot-out
AFC Telford United pulled off a shock victory to win the Setanta Shield by beating Forest Green Rovers on penalties after a 0-0 draw.
It had been agreed beforehand that there would be no extra time, so they proceeded straight to a shoot-out.
And despite being on home turf, the Blue Square Premier side failed to score any of their spot-kicks as Telford ran out 3-0 victors.
Goalkeeper Ryan Young was the Bucks' hero with three successive saves.
Meanwhile, Jon Adams, Mark Danks and Gavin Cowan were all successful from 12 yards for the Shropshire side.
The Shield is the Conference's League Cup, contested by Blue Square Premier, North and South clubs.
