Smith backs Leigh
Margate goalkeeper Phil Smith feels Leigh RMI are "too good to go down".

Gate boosted their chances of survival with a 2-0 home win over the Hilton Park outfit, but it leaves Mark Patterson's men two points off safety.

Smith told BBC Radio Kent: "There's lots of good teams in the Conference right now and it's arguable to say that none of them deserve to go down.

"But good teams are in the drop zone because they get the bad luck. It's just one of those things that happens."
