Kettering Town land Barwell midfielder Jamie Towers

Kettering Town

Kettering boss Marcus Law has signed winger Jamie Towers on a free transfer from his former club Barwell.

Law brought Towers, who can play for Town immediately, to Evo-Stik Division One South Barwell in March 2009.

He went on to score six goals in 21 appearances but missed three months of last season through work commitments.

It is the third time Law has signed a player with links to his former club after midfielder Liam McDonald and defender Nick Green joined in November.

Towers' former clubs include Coventry Sphinx, Nuneaton and Leamington.
