Kettering Town boss Marcus Law says lower level players have the talent and hunger to be a success at the club.

The Poppies have already signed Nick Green, Liam McDonald, Nick McKoy and Claudiu Hoban under Law.

Law told BBC Radio Northampton: "I firmly believe there's lots of talent in the lower levels, players who are hungry to prove themselves.

"I'm sure I can find these players. They're not passing through or at the end of their careers."

Midfielder Andre Boucaud recently left the club for York City for an undisclosed fee.

"I'm not saying that Andre was like that, and we were gutted to lose him," Law added.

In the manager's scheme of things, three years is a long time. The chairman and the directors are working hard on numerous ideas

"No-one went on the transfer market. It was an offer that came out of the blue, and now I'm looking to bring in some fresh blood. There's an abundance of players out there."

Law also remains unfazed by the ground situation at Rockingham Road, where the club's lease is due to expire in 2013.

"In the manager's scheme of things, three years is a long time. The chairman and the directors are working hard on numerous ideas.

"All I've got to do is make sure my team perform, get positive results and send 2,000 Kettering Town fans home with smiles on their faces."
