Law's Barwell reached the semi-final of the FA Vase last season
Kettering have appointed Barwell boss Marcus Law as their new manager.
The 34-year-old former Bristol Rovers keeper has signed a contract until the end of the season, with the Poppies having the option for an extra year.
Law had led Evo-Stik League First Division South leaders Barwell to eight league wins out of eight this season.
Morell Maison had been in temporary charge of the Blue Square Bet Premier side since Lee Harper left by mutual consent on 20 September.
Barwell chairman Dave Laing announced on Wednesday that their boss had left to take over at Rockingham Road.
He said: "He will commence his duties there on Monday.
"Marcus has been talking to Kettering Town since a week last Thursday and last night [Tuesday] announced that he had agreed to accept the position of manager with immediate effect."
Law has also been an academy coach at Aston Villa and Coventry.
