Bayliss has been in talks with a striker this week
Barrow joint-boss Dave Bayliss has described his struggling side's next two league games as "must-wins".
The Bluebirds lie one point from safety in the Blue Square Premier relegation places following Tuesday night's 2-0 home defeat by Cambridge.
"You can't hide anywhere." Bayliss told BBC Radio Cumbria. "There is no point in saying that a point here or there will be okay."
"If we don't get six points it will be a mini-disaster in our own words."
Barrow, who currently lie 21st, face bottom club Lewes at Holker Street on Saturday with a trip to financially-stricken Weymouth on Sunday, 29 March.
By hook or by crook, even if it means me putting my boots on and going up front, there will be a new face for Saturday

"We've got 10 cup finals now and the games are whittling down." Bayliss said.
"There's no point feeling sorry for ourselves. We've got to roll our sleeves up because we are in a battle."
Two second-half Chris Holroyd goals saw Cambridge inflict Barrow's fifth home defeat of the season and Bayliss believes his players now understand the gravity of their current predicament.
"They have to," he told BBC Radio Cumbria's Matchnight programme. "There's no point in us saying there's no pressure now to win games."
"We're going to put pressure on them that they've got to win, but it won't be easy, we've got to work hard."
Bayliss also confirmed that the club would sign a new striker on loan in time for Saturday's visit of Lewes.
"We know where we need to strengthen and that's going forward." he said.
"We're just a little bit short of ideas and there will be somebody in for Saturday.
"We have spoken about a player and we're just waiting for him to get back to us. By hook or by crook, even if it means me putting my boots on and going up front, there will be a new face for Saturday."
