Barrow joint-manager Darren Sheridan has urged the players to maintain the performance they produced in beating high-fliers Histon 1-0 on Tuesday.
The Bluebirds travel to promotion hopefuls Torquay United on Friday and Sheridan hopes they take heart and inspiration into that game.
"We've got to show the same attitude," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"Straight from the kick-off the lads were up for it, and they've got to carry on doing that."
Barrow could have extended their lead had Lee Hunt put away a cross from Mark Boyd during the game.
But Sheridan was reluctant to criticise a player whom he believed played a key part in the overall victory.
"It's a great ball in and he's headed it too well, if he misconnects it'll probably go in," he said.
"The lads trying his hardest to score, and it just won't fall for him at the moment, but he hasn't played for a while and his work-rate was unbelievable, he was outstanding."
