Steve King will be joined at Lewes by assistant manager Justin Skinner
Steve King has returned to Lewes for a second spell in charge of the club.
King previously spent seven years with the Rooks, but left after winning the Blue Square South title in 2008.
He stepped down as manager of Farnborough at the end of last month, after narrowly missing out on winning back-to-back promotions.
"I'm really happy to be back," said King. "Now I want to build something going forward. It's going to be an amazing time."
Lewes chairman Steve Ibbitson added: "Our supporters have been great over three difficult years.
"They deserve to see us winning more matches as well as playing good football and we think this gives us the best possibility of that."
The Sussex side will start next season in the Ryman Premier Division, Tim O'Shea having failed to save the club from relegation from Blue Square Bet South.
