Farnborough boss Steve King ready for Lewes return
King led Farnborough to the Southern League title last season
Farnborough manager Steve King says he is looking forward to returning to former club Lewes in Blue Square Bet South on Saturday.
King led Lewes to three promotions in five years before being replaced after winning the Blue Square South title.
He told BBC Sussex: "It's well documented how it ended there. It was not the way anyone wanted it.
"I think it will be quite an emotional day. The people in charge of the club now have the club at heart."
He added: "That's why off the field they are going in the direction they need to be."
Lewes stayed in Blue Square Bet South on the final day of last season and are facing a similar battle for survival this year, while King's charges Farnborough sit third in the table, having won promotion last season.
The Rooks currently lie two points from safety, with nine games of the season left.
"It's a difficult transition period on the pitch," King continued.
"Steve Ibbitson saved them at the last knockings last year and it's going to be another feat for them to stay up again this year.
"I know Tim O'Shea quite well and he's trying to get it right. I can see the predicament they're in."
