Brian Little's Gainsborough Trinity job under threat
Swann has been Gainsborough chairman since October 2008
Gainsborough chairman Peter Swann has indicated that manager Brian Little's job could be under threat.
Swann's comments follow the Blues' FA Cup exit to FC United of Manchester and a poor start in the Blue Square Bet North, in which Gainsborough lie 19th.
"Brian knows what is expected over the coming weeks and the ramifications if things don't improve quickly," he said.
Swann had earlier threatened to quit himself after abuse from some fans, but now says he will remain at the helm.
When asked by BBC Lincolnshire to clarify the former Aston Villa's manager's future at the Northolme, Swann said: "I'm not saying that if we have six losses he's going to go.
"If we're playing well and giving 100%, that's what I'm expecting - and that hasn't been happening.
"I haven't really put a timescale on it. But as with any manager, that could be a dozen games, it could be two dozen or it could be a run of 20 games and then it all falls apart again," Swann added.
