Graham Baker wants Woking to improve Kingfield form

Woking manager Graham Baker has said the club must improve their form at Kingfield if they are to make the Blue Square Bet South play-offs.

The Cards have lost two of their three home games so far this season.

He told BBC Surrey: "If you dominate and win your home games all season, you don't have to put yourself under pressure to win away from home.

"It's not just us - all the previous managers at Woking have found it hard to make Kingfield a fortress."

Baker thinks the away team raise their game when they play at Woking.

"It's a lovely piece of grass, a lovely stand, a lovely place to play football and the other side find that extra 10 per cent of energy and commitment," he said.

"We've got to get over that. Our players have got to learn to take that pressure on board, relax and be arrogant.

"They need to express themselves a little bit more at home and not be afraid.

"There's no pressure put on them from me. It's something they've got to do themselves."
