Southport ready for title run-in, says boss Liam Watson
Southport manager Liam Watson says he knows what is expected as his side battle with Fleetwood Town for the Blue Square North title.
The Sandgrounders are two points behind Fleetwood and have a game in hand.
"I've been down this road before as a player and manager," Watson told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"I understand what's expected and I don't get carried away with a 5-0 win or with a 2-0 defeat. People say get two points a game and you'll do well."
He added: "A week is a long time in football. We took four points last week and we have six games left and we have been unbeaten in our last eight games."
Southport travel to Harrogate Town in the league on Saturday before they play their Lancashire Challenge Trophy final Clitheroe at the Reebok Stadium on Wednesday 7th April.
