Paul Marshall has had the dual role of chairman and manager since summer 2009
Tadcaster Albion are in with a chance of winning the Northern Counties East League First Division with seven games remaining this season.
Albion are four points behind leaders Brighouse Town with three games in hand after beating Eccleshill.
Manager Paul Marshall told BBC Radio York: "It's two from three so Brighouse don't want to lose a game.
"There's three big games for the top place so it's going to go right to the wire I think."
He explained: "It's all going to depend on us versus Leeds Carnegie and us versus Brighouse and Brighouse have got to play Leeds as well."
The club's absolutely thriving at the moment so it's onwards and upwards really for Tadcaster

Tadcaster Albion next play on Saturday, 27 March against Eccleshill for their second meeting in a week.
Marshall said: "Every game is a tough game to win and I'm sure Eccleshill will be coming to get their revenge on Saturday."
Marshall is also the club chairman as well as the manager and he said the future of the club looks healthy both on and off the field.
"I've got (coaches) Rob Hunter and Mark Smitheringale who've been excellent with me this season because they've taken a lot of responsibility while I've been looking after outside influences.
"It's just a great all round team we've got together. The club's absolutely thriving at the moment so it's onwards and upwards really for Tadcaster.
