Kidderminster Harriers beat Worcester City in FA Trophy
McPhee won the FA Trophy with Ebbsfleet United
Kidderminster skipper Chris McPhee was on target as Harriers beat local rivals Worcester City 1-0 in their FA Trophy third round tie at St George's Lane.
McPhee profited from a rare moment of indecision in the City defence to net from close range on 52 minutes.
Earlier Worcester had gone close when Marc McGregor's shot on the turn came back off the inside of the post.
Harriers also had Gavin Caines to thank for a goal-line clearance when goalkeeper Jasbir Singh was beaten.
Worcester City caretaker-manager Carl Heeley told BBC Hereford & Worcester:
"We had two good opportunities and we hit the inside of the post.
"A few centimetres the other way and it nestles in the back of the net but it was not to be.
"Good luck to Kidderminster as I thought in the second half they showed the difference in the leagues so we have got no complaints."
Harriers manager Steve Burr told BBC Hereford & Worcester:
"From here the pitch looks like a bowling green but the one side was treacherous.
"I'm not so sure how much better it was tonight than it was on Saturday.
"So fair play to the lads for getting through the tie as there were a few times when people couldn't stand up on this one side."
