Worcester City 3-1 Weymouth

Blue Square South

Worcester City gave new caretaker-boss Carl Heeley the perfect start as they came from behind at St George's Lane to beat fellow strugglers Weymouth.

Bottom club Weymouth led inside just six minutes through Ben Farrell.

But Marco Adaggio's glancing header from a corner levelled it in first-half stoppage time before City won it with two goals in the last seven minutes.

Tom Kemp put Worcester in front for the first time, before Adaggio's second four minutes later sealed the points.

Worcester City caretaker-manager Carl Heeley told BBC Hereford and Worcester:

"The result was everything today and we demanded that we win the game.

"We worked hard and we tried to retain the ball better certainly in the first half.

"I'm slightly disappointed with how we started because that was the reason we were behind, but fair credit to the boys as they've turned it around."
