Worcester caretaker Heeley keen to settle Kemp future
Carl Heeley will have former City boss George Rooney to help him.
Worcester City caretaker-manager Carl Heeley is aware of the size of the task facing him at St George's Lane.
City will entertain fellow strugglers Weymouth tomorrow, Heeley's first game in charge following Monday night's dismissal of Richard Dryden.
And one of Heeley's priorities is to resolve the future of skipper Tom Kemp.
"He has been unsettled," Heeley told BBC Hereford and Worcester. "We'll have a chat, see how he feels, and find the best outcome for him and the squad."
Worcester start the day in 19th in Blue Square South, just two points clear of danger.
They are then due to head for Surrey on Tuesday night for their FA Trophy second round replay against Carshalton Athletic.
Monday night's draw cost Dryden his job. But the prize for his immediate replacement Heeley is a home tie against Worcester's local rivals Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday week (30 January).
