Harrogate Town boss Aspin believes home form will be crucial this season
Harrogate Town stayed second in Blue Square North after their fourth consecutive win.
They beat AFC Telford 2-0 with goals from Danny Holland and Darren Dunning to maintain their unbeaten home record.
Manager Neil Aspin told BBC Radio York that he has been pleased with his side's form at the CNG Stadium so far this season.
"I felt that [Telford] would test us and I'm delighted to get the three points, especially at home," he said.
"Last year our home form was good up to Christmas and after that we struggled and couldn't win a match, so the home form is important."
Aspin revealed preparations for the game had not been ideal with a number of injury problems affecting his squad and prompting him to bring in Tim Ryan from Darlington and Huddersfield's Shane Killock on loan.
"It was a really tough game," said Aspin. "With the problems that we had from Saturday I've had a really difficult weekend.
"We knew we'd lost Justin Whittle with an injury and then on Sunday I found out that I'd lost Nathan Peat then today [Tuesday] I found out that Jamie Smith had got shingles, so to lose three players from a small squad it's obviously given me a lot of problems.
"But we managed to get two defenders in and they both played their part.
"I thought we were excellent in the first half and deservedly in front. Then in the second half we got pushed back against a good team - physically strong - and it was a very difficult second half.
