Worcester City manager Richard Dryden has warned his players to start matches better, or be prepared for much more running in training sessions.
Dryden told BBC Hereford and Worcester his patience is starting to wear thin after two successive home defeats.
"If we do start again like we did against Bath, then they'll be working harder in training," he said.
"Rather than a bit of keep-ball fun to warm up, it will be running and we'll see if that motivates them," he added.
Worcester will make the long trip to Kent looking for what would be their first win in four league matches and Richard says they have to improve on the level of performance that saw them booed off at half-time in the home match against Bath City.
The City boss acknowledges there is a lot of travelling involved in the next two matches but he has already made it clear that this is no reason for his side not to perform.
"It's a long trip to Bromley, but it has to be done. We've got another game on Tuesday down at Basingstoke," said Dryden.
"We know where we are situated in the country and there are going to be a lot of long trips, so there are no excuses there."
In common with a lot of Blue Square South clubs, money is tight at St George's Lane, but Dryden has not ruled out making changes to his squad in the coming weeks, even if this means some of the current members have to move on to fresh fields.
There will be one or two coming down to training this week as they are now getting released from other clubs as the transfer deadlines are coming up.

The feeder leagues are not governed by the transfer window regulations and Dryden plans to run the rule over a number of potential targets in the coming weeks.
"We've got what we've got, and people might move on or we might just have a little bit of room in the budget for one more player, but it would be a really tight push," said Dryden.
"There will be one or two coming down to training this week as they are now getting released from other clubs as the transfer deadlines are coming up.
"There will be one or two around and maybe this will give our lads a kick up the backside," he added.
City will make late checks on the fitness of midfielders Matt Dodd and David Bampton before finalising their squad for the game at Bromley.
BBC Hereford and Worcester will carry regular updates from City's trip to Bromley as part of Sport on Saturday on Saturday 30 August.
Peter McMillan will be the reporter at Hayes Lane, and he will keep listeners to Sport on Saturday in touch with developments in the match throughout the programme, which is due on air at 1400BST.
