Worcester City manager Richard Dryden has said the long distances travelled by teams could make a difference in the division this season.
City will be hoping to build on their winning start in the Blue Square South when they host St Albans on Monday.
And Dryden told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "We had a long trip [to Bognor] on Saturday.
"I said to the players we don't want to come all this way for nothing and St Albans have a long journey to us."
City took all three points in their first game in the league, beating Bognor Regis Town 2-1.
There will be full commentary on the game between Worcester and S. Albans on Monday online at bbc.co.uk/herefordandworcester.
