St Georges defeated Laxey 4-0 at Glencrutchery Road on Saturday to move top of the Isle of Man Premier League.

St Marys bounced back from their first defeat of the season with a 6-1 win over Ayre United at Groves Road to stay in second place.

Meanwhile, Corinthians and Douglas Royal played their first games at the newly-opened Ballafletcher.

Corinthians drew 2-2 with Ramsey and Douglas Royal were beaten 2-1 by Michael United.

Elsewhere, Old Boys thrashed Castletown 6-1 and Gymns are now bottom after losing 2-0 at Rushen.
