Rushen United were crowned Isle of Man Premier League champions on Wednesday evening after beating Michael United 2-0 at Croit Lowey.
Josh Kelly and Steve Riding strikes were enough to seal Rushen's first Premier League title in 22 years.
Captain Paul Jones said: "It's a terrific result for us. I think we have laid some demons to rest tonight.
"If we can keep this group of players together, the future of the club looks very good indeed."
Meanwhile, St Mary's won the second versus third battle with a 2-1 win away at Laxey.
The result sees St Mary's move to within three points of the Miners with a game in hand.
Elsewhere, Gymnasium beat Ramsey 4-2 at Ballacloan and fourth placed Peel ended Union Mills' miserable campaign with a 3-0 win at Garey Mooar.
