St Martin's took the lead in the muddy conditions at Blanche Pierre Lane
Belgrave Wanderers remain 11 points clear at the top of the Senior County League Division One, after Saturday's 1-1 draw against St Martin's.
St Martin's were 1-0 up at half-time but Bels equalised in the second-half in trying conditions on a muddy pitch.
Saints played the last 10 minutes with 10 men after Tom Strawbridge was sent off for a second yellow card.
And Bels are now left needing just four points from their three remaining games to win the league title.
The game at Blanche Pierre Lane saw both sides create their share of chances.
In the dying minutes, 10-man Saints cleared their lines more than once before seeing the ball go agonisingly just wide of the Bels goal.
"These things happen at all levels," said Saints senior coach Colin Fallaize. "That chance went begging and a 1-1 result was not a good one for us in the end but a great one for Bels.
"But it was a good old-fashioned game of football. No complaints in terms of everyone's efforts."
