Guernsey swimmer Kristina Neves has returned from the Hampshire Championships with two senior county titles and three age-group records.

The 13-year-old swam in four long distance events at the first weekend of a three week competition in Portsmouth.

Neves was crowned junior and open Hampshire champion in both the 800m and 1500m races.

Six competitors from the Guernsey Swimming Club are due to attend the second weekend of the series.

In the 400m individual medley Neves broke her personal best by five seconds to finish in 5:11.11.

Elsewhere the Guernsey swimmer shaved three seconds off her 400m freestyle time finishing in 4:27.48.

Neves also completed the 800m freestyle in 9:16.99 and the 1500m freestyle in 17:35.04.
