Second-placed St Martin's have closed the gap at the top of Division One following a 3-0 win over Rozel Rovers.
Two goals from Billy Page and one from Marc McGrath moved Saints to within nine points of Belgrave Wanderers, with two games in hand.
St Martin's coach Colin Fallaize said although they are two games behind the Bels, he would rather have the points.
"Football is so unpredictable that there's a story to be told within that 180 minutes," he told BBC Guernsey.
"We've got to work for those six points of football, so I'd prefer to have them in the bad and won, that's for sure."
In Tuesday's other fixture, third-placed Northerners drew 2-2 away at sixth-placed Vale Recreation.
