Guernsey coach Tony Vance hopes his side's FA National League System Cup does not clash with the Clydesdale Bank International tournament.
Top-flight Scottish sides Motherwell and Hamilton will play Guernsey Athletics as well as a team from either Jersey or the UK on 13-14 February.
But Guernsey host the Hertfordshire Senior County League in the FA NLS Cup quarter-finals on the same weekend.
"The authorities are trying to avoid a clash with any fixtures," said Vance.
"Hopefully that will happen. Obviously it's a great tournament that'll be going on that weekend.
Guernsey face the Hertfordshire Senior County League at the Corbet Field with a 1400 GMT kick-off.
And Vance added: "We're keen that the supporters get to see as much football as they can and the games they'd like to see.
"Guernsey is their team, so hopefully they'll come along and support us."
