St Martin's Colin Fallaize predicts an open title race
St Martin's senior coach Colin Fallaize believes the race for Guernsey's Senior County League Division One title is still wide open.
Saints are currently nine points adrift of league leaders Belgrave Wanderers, but have two games in hand.
Fallaize told BBC Guernsey all the league's teams will have a say in where the Division One title ends up.
He said: "Tics, Rangers, Rovers and Sylvans are all going to make themselves difficult to beat."
"We want them competing for as long as possible to give every side they play the best game they can, which will then hopefully then turn some results to keep the league in everybody's interest."
St Martin's beat Rozel Rovers 3-0 on Tuesday to keep the pressure on the leaders.
The two title challengers are both back in action on Saturday with the Bels hosting Guernsey Rangers, whilst St Martin's are at home to Vale Recreation.
With the league's four other teams also playing this weekend, Fallaize knows the table could have a very different look on Sunday morning.
He said: "I'm hoping that the other teams can do a little bit of damage to Bels, and Bels are hoping that they can do a little bit of damage to us.
"As far as I'm concerned they're all in the race, even though it's looking like two are breaking away slightly, we've got everybody involved still."
