St George's completed a memorable league and cup double on Sunday with a 2-1 victory over Laxey in the Hospital Cup final.

Chris Melly scored both goals for Chris Bass Senior's side to complete a fantastic week for the club.

St George's manager Bass, said: "It's been both a great week and a great season for the club.

"We got the ball down and played some nice football so I'm very pleased with the performance."

Dave Thomas pulled a goal back for Laxey in front of a packed Castletown Stadium.
