St Johns win Division Two title

Football

St Johns were crowned CFS Division Two champions on Monday night after beating a determined Braddan outfit 3-2 at Mullen-e-Cloie.

The sides were tied 1-1 at half-time with Braddan's Gary Thomas cancelling out Antony Moore's 20th minute opener.

In the second half, goals from Sam Ingham and Andrew Chadwick re-established Saints' advantage.

Jamie Johnston pulled one back for Braddan but it was St Johns who took the points and the title.

St Johns and runners-up Castletown will both play their football in the Sure Mobile Premier League next term.
