Captain Sam Cochrane and keeper Gower celebrate with the Jeremie Cup
Guernsey's Belgrave Wanderers lifted the Jeremie Cup after beating St Martin's on penalties in the Channel Islands Champions League on Wednesday.
The game ended 1-1 after extra time and each side converted their first five penalties so it went to sudden death.
And Bels' Keeper Rhys Gower stopped Ben Hunter's spot kick to win the Cup.
Bels manager Mick Ogier told BBC Guernsey: "It's not very nice to win on penalties and my heart goes out to Saints, but I'm chuffed we won."
Simon Marley from Bels and Saints' Chris Le Noury were the goal scorers in normal time.
"We dominated the first half, Saints dominated the second, but I thought we were far better in extra time," said Ogier.
St Martin's coach Colin Fallaize said he was feeling "the same as everybody that gets into this situation - you're pretty disappointed for the boys".
Bels and Saints will also meet each other in the Guernsey FA Cup final
"There is always going to be a result in a cup final and someone is always going to feel like this, today it's us maybe next week it will be them," said Fallaize.
He admitted to an early setback: "Unfortunately we had to reshuffle which unsettled us a little bit as we lost Matt Warren right at the start so that changed some of our plans.
"In the end all the guys who came in did really well so I've got no complaints."
It was the first of two cup finals between the two sides in as many weeks as they face each other in the Guernsey FA Cup final on 8 April.
