Guernsey's FA Cup final has been put back a day so it does not clash with live television coverage of the Chelsea v Liverpool Champions League match.
The island's showpiece cup final should have taken place on Wednesday, 8 April, but will now be played on the Thursday.
"They won't change the Champions League game so we've got to change the FA Cup game," the GFA's league secretary Gary Cortez told BBC Guernsey.
Belgrave Wanderers and St Martin's are due to meet in the final.
"I've spoken to the two clubs involved and I've spoken to the referees and they don't seem to have a problem with it," Cortez continued.
"A handful of people, die-hards, will come and watch the FA Cup game, but all will have interest in the Chelsea-Liverpool game.

"To make it easier for everybody it'd be easier to put the game on so everyone can watch both games."
The game will now be played on Thursday, 9 April at Footes Lane with a 1930 GMT kick-off.
