Third-placed Saints condemned Rovers to 15th successive defeat as they came away from Port Soif with a 4-0 win.
St Martin's are three points clear of Rangers while Rovers are still looking for a first point this season.
Rangers stay fourth in the table after beating second-from-bottom Sylvans 4-1 at St Andrews.
