Rovers' 1-0 defeat at home to Rangers was their best result of the season

Leaders Belgrave Wanderers and second-placed North kept up the pressure on one another at the top of Guernsey's Senior County League Division One.

Bels edged past second-from-bottom Sylvans 2-1 at the Track to stay a point clear of North.

The Chocolate & Blues had a 3-1 win at home to third-from-bottom Vale Rec.

North are nine points clear of third-placed Rangers, who beat bottom side Rovers 1-0 at Port Soif, the best result of the season so far for Rovers.
