Truro to host Palace and Argyle

Truro City

Truro City will host two Championship sides at Treyew Road this season as part of their preparations for their first season in the Southern League.

Crystal Palace visit Truro on Friday 25 July with local rivals Plymouth Argyle crossing the Tamar five days later.

Manager Sean McCarthy's first game in charge of the team will be against Northern Counties side Arnold Town on Saturday 12 July.

Truro will also host Torquay United and Exeter City during their build-up.

League Two side Exeter are at Treyew Road on Tuesday 15 July while the Gulls travel to Cornwall on Friday 1 August.

Truro also play away friendlies at South West Peninsula League sides Buckland Athletic on Monday 21 July and Plymouth Parkway on Monday 5 August.

Truro will begin next season on the Southern League's South and West Division.

It follows their record-breaking Western League campaign last season where they won the championship with ease.
