David Willey and Stephen Peters have agreed contract extensions at Northants until the end of the 2011 season. Peters is Northants' top run-scorer in this year's County Championship, while Willey has developed well since making his debut for the county back in April. "Stephen is still improving as a cricketer and there is more to come from him," said head coach David Capel. "I'm pleased with David's progress and look forward to seeing that continue. I see him as a talented all-rounder." Perters, 30, who started his career with his native Essex, joined Northants from Worcestershire following the end of the 2005 season. Willey, 19, who has come through the ranks at Wantage Road, is the son of former Northamptonshire and England all-rounder Peter Willey, now a Test umpire.
