Hampshire all-rounder Dan Christian faces two weeks on the sidelines after suffering a calf injury. The Australian, 27, pulled up while bowling in Hampshire's seven-wicket win at Gloucestershire on Saturday. Hampshire have already lost the services of Shahid Afridi, Ajantha Mendis, Rangana Herath and Abdul Razzaq this season. Hampshire manager Giles White told BBC Radio Solent: "We haven't had much luck with overseas players this season." He added: "The amount of players who've come, gone, and not come has been unfortunate, but we'll press on and make the best of what we've got." Afridi opted not to complete his move to Hampshire in favour of skippering Pakistan in the Asia Cup. Razzaq also left the Rose Bowl to compete in the tournament, but is expected back at Hampshire for the later stages of the FP t20 competition. Herath earned a Sri Lanka call-up for the Asia Cup, while Mendis was prevented from joining Hampshire by the Sri Lankan Cricket Board. Australian fast bowler Brett Lee was also unable to make an agreed move to the Rose Bowl, due to an elbow injury. Hampshire are now considering their options for overseas replacements for later in the season, although they are unlikely to bring anyone else in for the t20 competition.
