Tom Kimber top-scored with 58 in Guernsey's loss to Singapore |
Rain caused the abandonment of the Guernsey and Bahrain match at the ICC World Cricket League Division Six tournament in Singapore on Sunday. The Sarnians lost by seven wickets to the hosts in the tournament's first fixture on Saturday. Guernsey cricket chief executive Mark Latter said: "I think the guys were ready to get going and get straight back on the bike as it were. "They want too play the game, but unfortunately it wasn't to be." The rain also caused Malaysia versus Norway and the hosts against Botswana called off. The fixtures will all be replayed on Monday on one of the tournament's designated reserve days.
