Hearse is happy with his side's attitude |
Guernsey team manager Dave Hearse believes they will acclimatise to the Singapore humidity before the ICC World Cricket League Division Six tournament. The island beat the Singapore Selong Cricket Club by nine wickets in a warm-up game on Tuesday, facing 30C heat and 80% humidity. Hearse said: "It was a very good opener... it was for our players to get out and feel the heat and humidity. "[The Twenty20] was an eye-opener on what we can expect in 50 overs." On the Division Six tournament, which starts on Saturday, Hearse said: "The players are looking good, they're feeling good, they've all got great attitudes. "They are going to be well prepared and in good form and it will be determined by the quality of the opposition."
