Missing the semi-finals on run rate and finishing fifth, Jersey cricket coach Craig Hogan said it was a good learning experience for the team. "I think playing five games in all and losing just one says it all." He told BBC Radio Jersey: "You just cannot have a bad session and we had one on the Tuesday (loss to Surrey by 85 runs) and that blew it for us." The team have only lost two matches in their last eleven, and Hogan is pleased with how his team is progressing. "I'm very pleased with how the development of their cricket has gone, they're playing very good cricket." Batting first Jersey were all out for 119, Aiden McGuire and Luke Gallichan both making 20. The island side then bowled Oxfordshire out for 70, Alex Noel the best of the bowlers with three wickets for 13.
