Valkyres are through to the final of the Standard Bank Blincoe Cup after winning an epic battle with Castletown B by just one run on Tuesday. Town batted first in the two-innings-per-side match and recorded 155-5 before Valkyres set 132-7 to trail by 23 runs. Valkyres rallied in their second spell with 152-8 to set the southerners a target of 129 to win. In a thrilling finish Town fell just one run short of their target.
