Jersey crushed Fiji with a 77-run win in their World League Division Four warm-up match on Wednesday. Batting first Jersey only made 135, with a late flourish from Tony Carlyon (22) and Anthony Kay (20). But Jersey's bowlers destroyed the Fijians, bowling them out for 58 in 21.3 overs with Ben Stevens taking 3-4. Team manager Chris Minty told BBC Jersey he believes his men can claim the title: "We've got our heads on and we are aiming to go all the way." He added: "If we play properly we've got every chance and that's what we're aiming to do." Jersey begin their campaign on Saturday with a match against the hosts Tanzania. "We believe home advantage is always a factor, so we need to dispel that straight away and take advantage of our good form." Jersey have won 12 of their last 13 international matches, the only defeat coming at the hands of Afghanistan in the final of World Cricket League Division Five in May.
