Severe fog forced the cancellation of the first round of matches in the Channel Islands Cricket Championship on Saturday.

As there are no available dates left in the islands' cricket calendar no points were awarded for the matches.

Instead teams will pick up an average based upon how they do in their remaining two games.

The next matches are set for Saturday 16 August where the two highest ranked sides in each group will meet.

In Group A Jersey champions Romerils face Guernsey runners-up Wanderers while Group B will see unbeaten Guernsey champions Cobo face the reigning CI champions and Jersey runners-up Old Victorians.
