Hosts Jersey and neighbours Guernsey are new to the top flight

The ICC European Division One Under-15 Championship gets under way in Jersey on Monday.

Jersey are new to the top division, as are Channel Island neighbours Guernsey.

They will take on Division One regulars Ireland, Scotland, Denmark and The Netherlands in a round robin competition for the ICC European crown.

First-round matches see favourites Ireland take on Denmark at Farmer's Field and Scotland up against 1999 winners the Netherlands at FB Field.

Jersey and Guernsey have a training day at Les Quennevais on day one, but both are in action on Tuesday when Jersey host Scotland at Victoria College and Guernsey play Ireland at FB.
