The two groups for the Channel Island Cricket Championships have been decided after the final round of matches in the Jersey Premier League on Saturday.

Jersey champions Romerils head Group A. They are joined by 2006 CI champions Sporting Club Francais and two Guernsey sides: Wanderers and Argyll Investment.

Guernsey champions Cobo head Group B, with current CI Champions, Jersey's Old Victorians perhaps their stiffest test.

The two favourites to qualify from the Group are joined by Rovers and St Ouen.

Rovers finished third in the Guernsey Championship, while St Ouen were fourth in the Jersey League.

Group fixtures will be played on Saturday's 6, 16 and 20 August, with the best two sides according to their respective island leagues set to meet on Saturday 16 August.

The semi-finals will be played on Saturday 6 September, with the final a week later.

It will be staged at either the KGV or Grainville, depending on which island the finalists come from.
