Guernsey beat Jersey for the first time in seven years in May
North's women's football manager says a number of clubs are suffering from a shortage of players in Guernsey.
Marc Rogers has just 13 players signed on for his squad for the upcoming season and says there is a drought of players in the island.
"I think the problem is not just with North but a couple of the other sides, certainly Sylvans and Rangers," he told BBC Guernsey.
"The amount of women out there wanting to play football are dwindling."
The Guernsey Football Association has changed the league to compensate for a lack of numbers.
Women will play nine-a-side matches on three-quarter size pitches in a season running from August to December.
And Rogers is appealing to anyone who would like to play to come to North.
"What we're looking for is anybody over the age of 16 who'd like to play football or has played football or has had children and wants to come back into the game," he said.
