Opening batsmen Andy Gibbs and Paul Robson stole the show as the Channel Islands Over-50s team demolished the Isle of Wight on Tuesday.

The CI side beat their fellow islanders by 10 wickets at Ventnor.

The combined Guernsey-Jersey team restricted the Isle of Wight to 166-9 thanks to Mike Kinder's haul of 4-17.

The islands reached their target without loss off 26.4 overs as Andy Gibbs hit 79 not out and Paul Robson scored an unbeaten 61.

Their final match on tour is against Dorset on Wednesday.

The islands must win if they are to have any chance of making it out of Group Three of the ECB's Over-50s County Championships.
